About role:
Designation – Manager
Location- Pune_Dighi
Broad objective of the role:
Management of power and HVAC upgrades and 24 X 7 Hrs operations of multiple telecom sites and offices in the city / region through service contract manpower. Adhere policies and processes for the respective services of the function. Define SLA & Scope documents for Repairs & Maintenance, AMC, replacement projects or breakdown maintenance. Management of Asset inventory, space, power & cooling requirements for all telecom network sites. Manage & maintain compliance for safety & environment data, approve JSA, work permits, ensure safety at sites. Maintain Intercompany debit data for energy. Training & compliance of off role manpower at sites.
Operating Network:
Coordination with electricity authorities and power supply providers, Chief electrical inspector, Fire offices, Air, water and pollution department, CCOE office and other statutory compliance by various regulator / government authorities
Network locations – 3, Office / administrative and other locations – 12
Role Holder Requirements
Minimum qualification & experience
Qualification : Degree / Diploma Electrical from reputed University Experience : 10-13 years of Operation and Maintenance of telecom / Data center passive infrastructure network which include MSC / BSC / Transmission hubs / Data center site etc. Passive Infrastructure include 33 KV / 11KV Electrical Setup, HT / LT DG sets. , HVAC systems High Capacity chillers ( more than 1000TR capacity), High Capacity UPS system, Precision Air-conditioning System, DC power supply systems,VRLA Battery banks, Safety and security systems including Novac 1230 / FM 200 systems, BMS ( Building Management Systems) . Preferred role in current organization as Asst Manager / Dy Manager, .Industry Type : Telecom, Data Center , IT campus management– mission critical operation.
Technical skills : Sound Technical Knowledge on 33 KV/ 11KV Electrical Setup, HT /LT DG sets. ,HVAC systems High Capacity chillers ( more than 1000TR capacity), High Capacity UPS systemPrecision Air-conditioning System, DC power supply systems, Safety and security systems including Novac 1230 / FM 200 systems, BMS ( Building Management Systems)
Skills, Attributes & Abilities :Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Energy Management System – lead auditor / ISO 50K, OHSAS 18001:2006, Six Sigma , IS0 14000 / 45001, TL9000, Team Building
Self & Team motivation, Analytical Skills, Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Customer Centricity etc
Key Responsibilities
Power Management
Strong Knowledge of 22KV/11KV Electrical Setup.HT/LT Dg Sets , HVAC Systems, High Capacity Chillers More than 1000 Tr.
Management of Electrical power include, electricity contract demand management, Validation of power purchase agreements, power expansion and load enhancement as per network growth to meet the business objectives . Ensuring 100% power uptime for critical servers, dual power to all critical servers to avoid single point of failure, N+N configuration to all critical power equipment to achieved redundancy and system reliability.
HVAC Management
Management of Chillers, PDX and other kind of AC package units to maintain of temperature, relative humidity, air flow ( CFM), temperature gradient and air purity inline to server / OEM recommendation. Cooling Capacity upgradation as per network growth to meet the business objectives. Ensuring 100% cooling uptime for critical servers, N+1 configuration to all server / nnetwork rooms to achieved redundancy and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Energy Efficiency Management and Green Energy
Energy efficiency management by ensuing optimal usages and state of art equipment for best operating performance. Equipment optimal usage to get more than 95% efficiency to achieve PUE
1.75 & HVACUE
1-.75. Ensuring energy savings of more than 10 % by “leveraging economies of scale, optimizing asset efficiency and upholding operational excellence, Adopting renewal energy usage and smart solutions to reduce the CO2 emission.
Safety Management and Statutory compliance Management
Safety management by ensuing all safety policy, processes and procedure adherence at each individual level. Promoting safety culture through by enforcement and appreciating best practices through reward and recognize programs. Ensuring all statutory compliance in place and consent to operate the facility without any fear of notice threat which could lead to business disruption.
Education Qualification Preference
BE Electrical Engineering
